A friend phoned me and suggested to join her for a manicure session she had a good discount for. I said no thanks, but no. Tried to explain I was having a painting lesson the next day, but I doubt she really understood what I meant :) So right now I'm back home from the studio, my hands smelling of turpentine and linseed oil, occasional blotches of paint found all over me with some especially colourful deposits concentrated under my fingernails, half of the latter broken in an unfortunate attempt to open an old paint tube :D I guess manicure just isn't meant for me. Somehow.

Today I was playing the "Have you ever...?" game with my EFL students and they asked me if I ever had fallen in love at the first sight. Actually I have :) When I first met my (then future) husband I had the craziest thought ever: I want to marry this man ! Which was even crazier than it sounds, because at the time he was a university Math professor and I was a first-year student. Luckily, he wasn't actually my professor, because I'm so horrible at maths - he would have had me expelled almost instantly I wanted to paint him for our 10th anniversary, but I still lack the ability (or proper time, because he's too busy to sit for me anyway). So

Watching all the movies I missed in summer :) This weekend it was about Ninja Turtles and Guardians of the Galaxy.
